A Michigan Golf Challenge - Boulder Pointe Course Details

Boulder Pointe Golf Club brings together three 9-hole courses, each with its own distinct feel and challenges. You'll love experiencing the Bluffs, the Peaks and the Dunes. No matter how you choose to combine the three courses into 18 holes, you'll have options. You can challenge yourself with the gold tees, all of which clock in at more than 7,000 total yards, rewarding concentration, good course judgment and the occasional massive power drive. Or you can take it easy and savor the scenery, electing to use the closest tees which bring all three course combinations down to just over 5,000 yards. The Boulder Pointe course is what you make of it, but the variety will surely have you coming back again and again.

These courses are located on the site of a reclaimed gravel mine, which has 15 sparkling blue-green lakes. Combine this with the dramatic elevation changes, and players will forget they're engaged in Oakland County golf. They'll feel like they're in another world. The course is enhanced by Boulder Pointe's full-service clubhouse with banquet seating for as many as 300 people, outstanding practice facilities, locker room, club storage and modern carts.

Golf Course News

Exciting changes on the course!

Our esteemed Golf Course Superintendent, Scot Gardiner, has been working diligently to improve many aspects of our already tremendous golf course.  Scot and his staff been working tirelessly on daily maintenance to get the golf course in prime condition this spring.  He has also worked on several projects that you are sure to notice the next time you play.  These are just a few examples:

  • #2 Peaks: The right front portion on the green approach and green have been raised to ensure that the lake doesn't intrude onto the course.
  • #4 Peaks:  The middle (Blue) tee box has been redone to create a large, level hitting area.  This tee will allow for perfect views of this signature hole no matter which tee box you play from.
  • #7 Peaks:  The tee boxes have been rebuilt and the brush behind the green has been cleared.  This returns the hole to the original design and allows for fantastic sight lines between holes.

Many other projects are being worked on but this is just a sampling. Please come out and admire these changes yourself!  Contact the golf shop for Tee Times. 248-969-1500
