We here at Boulder Pointe Golf Club take the health and safety of our golfers and employees very seriously. We want you to feel safe and comfortable when you play or work here. This document is intended to outline the policies and procedures we have put in place for the safety of all of this during this COVID-19 outbreak. Please read them over and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
All customers and employees are to stay home if they do not feel well. We do not want you feeling obligated to come in if you are experiencing any sickness.
All employees are subject to a temperature check and a health screening questionnaire before every shift. All employees are to wear face covering masks that cover the nose and mouth completely whenever they are in contact with customers, the general public or fellow staff members. We are asking all customers and employees to observe the 6 foot social distancing protocols put in place by the government. We have “X”s on the floor to assist with this. We have plexiglass barriers set up at the counters in the Golf Shop and Gimmie’s Bar and Grill. We ask all customers to wear a face mask when you are in the building. This for your health and the health of the entire staff.
We have gone to a prepaid only system where the customer must prepay for their tee time. This can be done over the phone or on our website www.boulderpointe.net. We have implemented this to reduce the amount of players you are coming in close contact with. We have also moved the credit card swipe into a position where the customer can use it themselves. We are disinfecting commonly touched surfaces several times throughout the day. There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the building including the Golf Shop and Gimmie’s Bar and Grille.
We have implemented a thorough cart sanitizing procedure. When a cart comes in after being contacted by a player it must be fully cleaned and sanitized. We wash and dry the cart completely using the hose and towels. Once this is complete, the cart is sprayed with our bleach solution using the large hand pump sprayers. That solution must stay on the carts for 5 minutes to allow for proper disinfecting time. Range balls are washed with soap and water and then treated with the bleach solution before they enter the range ball dispensing machine. The tokens used for the ball dispenser are frequently sprayed and disinfected.
I hope all of the policies and procedures we have implemented here at Boulder Pointe Golf Club help you feel as safe and secure as possible. We are always open to your suggestions. Please email me if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions. Thank you and we appreciate all of your loyalty, hard work and dedication during these trying times. Be safe!
